Knee Pain

Knee pain is quite common among both old and young alike. Pain can come from overuse, strain, caused by injuries, or medical conditions. Injuries can include raptured ligaments and torn cartilage.  Some medical conditions that can affect knee pain are arthritis and gout infections. While most minor knee pains can be treated with self-care measures, seeing a physical therapist is highly recommended to ensure that you get the correct treatment and that you solve the problem of the pain instead of simply treating the symptoms.

A few of the symptoms of knee pain to look out for are:
·      Swelling and stiffness
·      Redness and warmth to the touch
