Co-Founder Julie Lavergne, co-owner of Agilus, is a Physical Therapist who also holds the designation of ADAPT Trained Practitioner from Kresser Institute, the only Functional Medicine and Ancestral Health Training Company.

Dr. Philip Wuellner, PT

Meet Dr. Philip Wuellner. Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, Dr. Wuellner received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University, where he played 4 years of Division 1 baseball for the Billikens! He is certified in Dry Needling, Functional Nutrition for Chronic Pain, and Personalized Blood Flow Restricted Exercise and is actively pursuing certification in Postural Restoration. Dr. Wuellner is passionate about helping his patients feel and function their best. In his free time, you can find him hunting and fishing around the city.

Tessa Robicheaux, PT

Tessa Robicheaux is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specializing in orthopedic and pelvic health. She provides targeted care in orthopedic rehabilitation, dry needling, joint manipulation, and pelvic health. At Agilus, Tessa leads pelvic health services within the women’s health initiative, delivering evidence-based treatment that improves mobility, function, and overall quality of life. She is recognized for her expertise in pelvic health, treating both men and women with a results-driven, patient-centered approach. Tessa earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She is committed to delivering compassionate, individualized care that helps patients return to the activities they value most. Outside the clinic, Tessa enjoys weightlifting, running, and traveling with her husband.

Robert Rush MD, MPH

Occupational Medicine Physician Dr. Robert Rush is the only board-certified Occupational Medicine Physician in our entire area. Dr. Rush is also Board Certified in Bariatrics, on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of The American Academy of Family Physicians. 

Sarah Newhouse, FNP-BC

Sarah is a board-certified nurse practitioner who committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with a personalized approach to each patient’s unique needs. She specializes in wellness, preventive care, hormone treatment, and effective medical solutions designed to help every patient achieve long-term health, balance, and an improved quality of life.

Physical Therapy Assistant Gabe has been practicing since 2004. Gabe received his training while serving in the U.S. Navy. He has served Our Honorable Veterans of Bethesda Naval Hospital, Little Creek Virginia Beach, and aboard USS Harry S. Truman.

Elizabeth “Liz” Roberts, PTA

Elizabeth (“Liz”) was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. She is a Physical Therapist Assistant who received her degree from Louisiana Christian University. She has experience in both Outpatient Physical Therapy and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation. Liz states she “is dedicated to helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and feel confident in their recovery.”
