Hip Pain Part 1

Hip pain is most commonly caused by overuse, gravity, age, and strain. While your hip bone is exceptionally durable, the friction and wear in the joints can add up over time. This causes the cartilage and tendons that cushion the damage done to your bones, to wear down and become thin. Past injuries and age can make your hips fragile and susceptible to damage and breaking.

Some of the symptoms you may be feeling will show up in these areas:

  • Thigh
  • Inside of the hip joint
  • Groin
  • Outside of the hip joint
  • Buttocks

Hip pain can manifest itself in a few different ways, if your pain is showing up in the groin, you are probably experiencing an issue with the ball and socket. If your pain is coming from the pocket on the side of your hip, you may be experiencing musculoskeletal problems.

Hips are the foundation of your body. If you are having problems with your hips this can cause other problems in your back, neck, and head. Agilus health can give you back muscle stability through physical therapy, which can help your hip problems, as well as your neck and back pain.
